As part of the Medical Reform Pilot Project led by China's National Health Commission and the Shanghai Municipal Government, Shanghai International Medical Center has established key specialties and medical professional teams in collaboration with a number of Shanghai's tertiary hospitals including Ruijin, Renji, Xinhua, medical centers affiliated to Jiaotong, Fudan and other prestigious universities. To date, over 2,000 medical experts set outpatient and surgical operations at SIMC, amongst whom more than 500 have regular clinic hours of multi-sited practice. with such a talent pool, SIMC has built a comprehensive multidisciplinary treatment platform that brings together both domestic and international medical elite expertise.

As an international medical center striving to improve patient care and advance medical practice, Shanghai International Medical Center put forth lots of effort in building an international platform through remote consultation, international referral and overseas doctor recruitment.
